Ersekë
Ersekë ( sq-definite, Erseka), is a town and a former municipality in southeastern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision and the seat of the municipality Kolonjë. Founded in the 17th century, Erseka was the seat of the former Kolonjë District. The population at the 2011 census was 3,746.2011 census results
Situated at the foot of the Gramos mountains, it is a small alpine town at 1050 meters in altitude, making it one of the highest towns in Albania.

Ersekë Stadium
Ersekë Stadium () is a multi-use stadium in Ersekë. The stadium was built by the Ersekë council and was paid for by them. The stadium currently holds around 6,000 supporters, with seating for 2,000. The playing surface is made from all natural grass. Renovation It has recently been renovated following Gramozi's promotion to the Albanian Superliga in 2009. The stadium was expanded in terms of capacity as it can now hold 10,000 from the previous 2,000. There is still however only one stand in the stadium which can seat 2,000 and has a V.I.P area. The changing rooms have also been renovated and new showers have been fitted for both the home and away sides. There is also now a press room, one of a few in Albania at the moment. References

Kolonjë District
Kolonjë is a municipality in Korçë County, southeastern Albania. It was created in 2015 by the merger of the former municipalities Barmash, Çlirim, Ersekë, Leskovik, Mollas, Novoselë, Qendër Ersekë and Qendër Leskovik. The seat of the municipality is the town Ersekë. The total population is 11,070 (2011 census), in a total area of . It is an ethnographic region. The area of the municipality is with the former Kolonjë District, one of the 36 districts of Albania, which were dissolved in July 2000 and replaced by 12 counties. Location Kolonjë is located in south-east Albania and its capital is Ersekë. Other towns in this district include Leskovik to the south. Football Club Gramozi is an Albanian football club based in Ersekë. History The club was founded in 1927 and competed in the lower divisions of Albanian football for much of its history. The club were crowned winners of the Albanian Second Division for the 2007–08 season, which led to their promotion to the Albanian First Division, the second tier. They were promoted to the Albanian Superliga for the first time at the end of the 2008–09 season, after beating Bylis Ballsh 5–2 in the playoff. Petro Nini Luarasi
Petro Nini Luarasi (born 22 April 1865 in Luaras, Kolonjë, Albania, then Ottoman Empire, and died on 17 August 1911 in Ersekë, Kolonjë, Albania, then Ottoman Empire) was an Albanian rilindas activist, teacher and journalist. His father, Nini Petro Kostallari, had also been active in the Albanian National Revival as a publicist and teacher. Life Once that he finished the Qestorat seminary school under Koto Hoxhi, he worked as a teacher in the villages of Kolonjë District, where he taught Albanian in disguise and prepared a number of friends as future teachers of Albanian. In 1887 Luarasi and fellow teacher Thanas Sina took over the running of the Albanian school in Korçë from Pandeli Sotiri after his departure. Between 1887 and 1893 Luarasi opened in Ersekë and in some villages of the Kolonjë District Albanian language schools. Greco-Italian War
The Greco-Italian War (), also called the Italo-Greek War, Italian campaign in Greece, Italian invasion of Greece, and War of '40 in Greece, took place between Italy and Greece from 28 October 1940 to 23 April 1941. Kategoria Superiore (), also known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons with internet service provider, Abissnet, is a professional league for men's association football clubs in Albania. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's premier football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). Petro Dode
Petro Dode (born 17 April 1924, date of death unknown) was an Albanian politician. He served as Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania from 19 February 1987 to 17 April 1990. Dode was a party functionary. Sevasti Qiriazi-Dako (Sevasti D. Kyrias) (ca. 1871–1949) was an Albanian patriot, educator, Protestant missionary, author, pioneer of Albanian female education, and activist of the Albanian National Awakening. Life and early career Early life Sevasti was born ca. 1870 to the patriotic Qiriazi family of Tërnovë, Monastir, in today's North Macedonia, then Ottoman Empire. She was the sixth of ten children.
