Erik Isaac Morales Elvira (born September 1, 1976) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2012. He is the first Mexico-born boxer in history to quadruple champion, win world championships in four weight classes, ranging from super bantamweight to light welterweight. Morales defeated fifteen world champions during the course of his career, and is famous for his trilogies with fellow Mexican legend Barrera vs. Morales trilogy, Marco Antonio Barrera, as well as Manny Pacquiao. ESPN ranked Morales at number 49 on their list of the 50 greatest boxers of all time. Morales was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June 2018. Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . Remigio Daniel Molina Ferreyra (6 November 1970 – 18 September 2016) was an Argentine professional boxer in the Lightweight division. Hector Acero Sánchez (born March 18, 1966) is a Dominican former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2002. He held the WBC super bantamweight title from 1994 to 1995. Boxing career In August 1994, he defeated Tracy Harris Patterson via split decision in a surprise upset for the WBC super bantamweight title. After winning a non-title bout against Barrington Francis in 1994, Sánchez made two defenses of his title the following year, defeating former WBA super bantamweight champion Julio Gervacio in a 12 round unanimous decision and fighting to a controversial draw against former WBC bantamweight and two-time WBC super bantamweight champion, Daniel Zaragoza.
