''Jessica Jones (TV series), Jessica Jones'' is an American streaming television series created for Netflix by Melissa Rosenberg, based on the Marvel Comics character Jessica Jones, of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with List of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, the films of the franchise, and is the second in a Marvel's Netflix television series, series of shows that lead up to a ''The Defenders (miniseries), Defenders'' crossover miniseries. The series stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones (Marvel Cinematic Universe), Jessica Jones, with Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, and Carrie-Anne Moss also starring.
