Erick Christopher Sebayang
Erick Christopher Sebayang (born July 30, 1983 in Indonesia) is a retired Indonesian professional basketball player. He was known playing for Pelita Jaya Esia Jakarta of the Indonesian Basketball League. He is also a member of the Indonesia national basketball team. Sebayang competed for the Indonesia national basketball team at the FIBA Asia Championship 2009 The 2009 FIBA Asia Championship for Men was the biennial Asian continental championship and also served as the FIBA Asia qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. FIBA Asia Championship 2009
The 2009 FIBA Asia Championship for Men was the biennial Asian continental championship and also served as the FIBA Asia qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. The tournament was held from August 6 to 16, 2009 in Tianjin, China. The Indonesia men's national basketball team represents the Republic of Indonesia in international basketball competitions. The governing body of the team is the ''Persatuan Bola Basket Seluruh Indonesia'' (Indonesian Basketball Association – ''PERBASI'').
