Eric Upton
Eric Thomas Upton (April 29, 1953 – May 23, 2024) was a Canadian professional football player who was an offensive lineman for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was named a CFL Western All-Star in 1979 and was a part of five Grey Cup championship teams with the Eskimos. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line (OL), while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line (DL).
