Eric Rogers (born Eric Gaukroger; 25 September 1921 – 8 April 1981) was an English people, English-born composer, conductor and Music arranger, arranger, best known for composing the scores for twenty-two ''Carry On films, Carry On'' films. Early life Rogers moved with his parents from Halifax, West Yorkshire, Halifax, England, to Morriston, Wales, when he was three. Rogers was interested in music from an early age, and during his attendance at church as a child, he was taught to play the church organ. His musical apprenticeship was generally untutored and he found himself playing the piano during the Second World War for free beer. Career After the Second World War, he set up his own orchestra, playing in the Orchid Room at London's Trocadero (London), Trocadero. He orchestrated the original stage production of ''Oliver!'', first performed at the Noël Coward Theatre, New Theatre, London on 30 June 1960. Eric Rogers (gridiron Football)
Eric Dionne Rogers (born February 12, 1991) is a gridiron football wide receiver who is a free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Cal Lutheran and was a CFL All-Star in 2015. Rogers has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Portland Thunder, Calgary Stampeders, and San Francisco 49ers. College career Rogers was a receiver at California Lutheran University, an NCAA Division III school, which plays in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). He set school records for career receptions (220), receiving yards (3,461), receiving touchdowns (41) and total scoring (270). As a senior, Rogers set CLU records with 91 receptions and 18 touchdowns. The receiver also posted 1,298 yards that season.
