Eric Martin (Welsh Singer)
Me One (born Eric Martin on 19 August 1970), also known as MC Eric, is a Welsh musician, rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer, who rose to prominence for his work for the Belgian-based recording act Technotronic. Early life Martin was born in Cardiff, Wales to Jamaican parents; his mother an English teacher from Kingston and his father a Pentecostal Church minister from Saint Mary Parish. He is the youngest of thirteen children. Martin was educated in Cardiff (Fitzalan High School), London and New York City. He holds dual Jamaican and British citizenship. Work with Technotronic Martin (as MC Eric) was a member of techno/Eurodance act Technotronic, providing lead vocals on the 1990 hit single " This Beat Is Technotronic". The Blond Ambition World Tour (billed as Blond Ambition World Tour 90) was the third concert tour by American singer Madonna. The Sugababes are an English girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by Ron Tom, the manager of All Saints, Sugababes released their debut album, '' One Touch,'' through London Records in November 2000. It achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy was replaced by Heidi Range.
