Eric Lamb (musician)
Eric Lamb (born 1978) is an American flutist and Altus performing artist who performs and teaches across the United States and Europe. Education Lamb received a flute performance degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2000, where he studied with Michel Debost. Following this, he studied with Thaddeus Watson at the Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt am Main, where he received a Master's of Orchestral Performance and a Soloist's Diploma. The Soloist's Diploma is Germany's most prestigious music degree. Additionally he trained in Italy with Chiara Tonelli at the Sculoa di Musica di Fiesole. Performance Lamb is a core member of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), based out of New York and Chicago. The new music group premiers works and performs innovative concerts in nontraditional venues. Oberlin Conservatory Of Music
The Oberlin Conservatory of Music is a private music school, music conservatory of Oberlin College, a Private university, private Liberal arts colleges in the United States, liberal arts college in Oberlin, Ohio. Alarm Will Sound is a 20-member chamber orchestra that focuses on recordings and performances of contemporary classical music. Its performances have been described as "equal parts exuberance, nonchalance, and virtuosity" by the ''Financial Times'' and as "a triumph of ensemble playing" by the ''San Francisco Chronicle''. Martin Rummel
Martin Rummel (born 2 May 1974) is an Austrian cellist. Biography The son of Peter Rummel, professor of law, grew up in Linz, where he went to primary school and graduated from Akademisches Gymnasium, where he received a Classical education, with highest marks in 1992. After early harpsichord and piano lessons from Helga Schiff-Riemann, he started to learn the cello in 1982 from Wilfried Tachezi at what is today the Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama, and Dance. Simultaneously, he studied the harpsichord with August Humer, but did not finish this course. In March 1991, he got his diploma as a concert cellist with highest marks, being the youngest graduate of the institution's history at the time. After a few private lessons from Robert Cohen in London, he then studied there with William Pleeth.
