Eric Crumble (born December 10, 1966) is an American former boxer, and notably one of the sport's most prolific in terms of consistent losses. Since his professional debut on June 22, 1990, Crumble has participated in 32 fights and has lost every one with the exception of a no contest in 1994. Additionally, all of his losses have occurred via knockout in either the first or second round. In thirteen years of boxing, Crumble has fought in six weight classes, with his most notable opponents being Angel Manfredy in 1993 and Antwun Echols in 1996, both of whom went on to win regional and national championships, including challenging for world championships. Orthodox Stance
In combat sports such as boxing, an orthodox stance is one in which the boxer places their left foot farther in front of the right foot, thus having their weaker side closer to the opponent. Because it favors the stronger, dominant side (often the right side; see laterality), the orthodox stance is the most common stance in boxing and MMA. It is mostly used by right-handed boxers. No Contest (boxing)
No contest (abbreviated "NC") is a technical term used in some combat sports to describe a fight that ends for reasons outside the fighters' hands, without a winner or loser. The concept carried over to professional wrestling, where it is far more common, usually scripted to further a feud, generate heat and/or protect a push. Boxing In the 19th and early parts of the 20th century, many countries (and some parts of the United States) officially banned boxing, and occasionally the police would step in to shut down the bouts (which, although unlawful, were still sanctioned by regional boxing commissions). Antwun Echols (born December 4, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American boxer who was a world middleweight contender throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. His hometown is Davenport, Iowa. Career Echols turned professional in 1993 and in 1999 challenged IBF middleweight title holder Bernard Hopkins. Although Echols gave Hopkins a tough fight, he lost via decision.
