Eric Buhain
Eric Reyes Buhain (; born April 12, 1970) is a Filipino politician and former Swimming (sport), competitive swimmer serving as the House of Representatives of the Philippines, Representative for Batangas's 1st congressional district, Batangas's 1st district since 2022. He won several medals in the Southeast Asian Games from 1985 Southeast Asian Games, 1985 to 1993 Southeast Asian Games, 1993, and participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics, 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics. He later became a sports administrator. During the Presidency of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Arroyo administration, he served as chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission, chairman of the Games and Amusements Board, and an executive director of the Bureau of Immigration (Philippines), Bureau of Immigration. The 1993 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 17th Southeast Asian Games, were a multi-sport event held in Singapore from 12 to 20 June 1993 with 29 sports featured in this edition. The 1985 Southeast Asian Games (), officially known as the 13th Southeast Asian Games, were a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Bangkok, Thailand from 8 to 17 December 1985. This was the fourth time Thailand hosted the games and its first time since 1975. The country had previously hosted the 1959, 1967 and the 1975 editions, at the time when the games were then known as the Southeast Asian Peninsular (SEAP) Games.
