Erasmo Carlos (born Erasmo Esteves; 5 June 1941 – 22 November 2022) was a Brazilian singer and songwriter, most closely associated with his friend and longtime collaborator Roberto Carlos (no relation). Together, they created many chart hits including "É proibido fumar", " Sentado à beira do caminho", "Além do horizonte", "Amigo" and "Festa de arromba". Erasmo Catarino González Bernal (born November 25, 1977) is a Mexican singer and politician; the first-place winner on the popular Mexican television show '' La Academia 4'' (2005). He was selected as the winner by the public. Early life Erasmo Catarino González Bernal was born in Xalpatláhuac, Guerrero, in 1977. Erasmo Escala Arriagada (June 2, 1826 – March 3, 1884) was a Chilean soldier who served as commander-in-chief of the army during part of the War of the Pacific. He was born in Valparaíso, where he also completed his first studies. He joined the Military Academy in 1837. He participated in the battle of Yungay, during the war against the Peru-Bolivian Confederacy, and later in the Pacification of the Araucanía. During the battle of Loncomilla, in the 1851 revolution, he was injured and lost one of his arms. Erasmo Fuentes de Hoyos (born 1943) is a Mexican-born member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and sculptor who resides in Mapleton, Utah. Among his more well known works is "Anxiously Engaged" (made with his son Alex Fuentes) which is a sculpture of Mormon missionaries on bikes; the sculpture is displayed at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. Fuentes was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, but was raised in Saltillo, Mexico as a Latter-day Saint. He first came to the United States to work in 1964 and studied sculpture at Brigham Young University, graduating in 1968. He also was on the BYU Ballroom Dance Company, which was founded by his uncle, Benjamin F. de Hoyos. Fuentes studied particularly under Dallas Anderson. Erasmo Stefano of Narni (1370 – 16 January 1443), better known by his nickname of Gattamelata (meaning "Honeyed Cat"), was an Italian ''condottiero'' of the Renaissance. Erasmo Oneglia (1853–1934) was an Italian printer, born in Turin, who was also a successful stamp forger in the 1890s and early 1900s. Oneglia's first forgeries are believed to have been of the early stamps of Newfoundland and they are included in the second edition of Robert Brisco Earee's ''Album Weeds'' in 1892. In 1897 he was arrested in London for trying to sell forgeries to the stamp dealers Stanley Gibbons, however, he was let off with a fine of just 20 shillings and his stock confiscated. Erasmo Seguín
Juan José María Erasmo de Jesús Seguín y Fuentes (May 26, 1782 – October 30, 1857) was a prominent citizen and politician in San Antonio de Bexar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas, USA) in the 19th century. From 1807 until 1835, Seguín served as head postmaster of San Antonio, Texas. After Mexico achieved independence from Spain, Seguín was named the sole representative from Texas to the constitutional convention.
