Eoin Hayes
Eoin Hayes (born 15 October 1987) is an Irish independent politician, who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay South constituency since the 2024 general election. Hayes served as a member of Dublin City Council from June 2024 until his election to the Dáil. Although elected to the Dáil as a Social Democrats party TD, he was indefinitely suspended from the parliamentary party almost immediately afterwards following a controversy over holding shares in Palantir Technologies. He currently remains a member of the Social Democrats with no timeline to return to the parliamentary party. Early life and education Hayes was born in Limerick, Ireland. A Teachta Dála ( ; ; plural ), abbreviated as TD (plural ''TDanna'' in Irish language, Irish, TDs in English), is a member of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas, the parliament of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Cian O'Callaghan (born 7 May 1979) is an Irish politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay North constituency since the 2020 general election. He is the Housing spokesperson for the Social Democrats and became deputy leader of the party in 2023. He served as a member of Fingal County Council from 2009 to 2020, and was Ireland's first openly gay mayor. Early life O'Callaghan is from Sutton, Dublin.
