Enzo Corvi
Enzo Corvi (born 23 December 1992) is a Swiss professional ice hockey center who currently plays for HC Davos of the National League (NL). Playing career Corvi made his professional debut in the lower Swiss leagues with his hometown club, EHC Chur. On 1 May 2012 Corvi left Chur to sign with NLA stalwart club, HC Davos. With Davos, Corvi played at the 2012 Spengler Cup, where they lost the final match against Team Canada 7-2. In the tournament, he scored his first goal for Davos against Adler Mannheim. Corvi played alongside Joe Thornton, who played due to the 2012 Lockout with Davos. The 2013–14 National League A season is the seventh ice hockey season of Switzerland's top hockey league, the National League A. Overall, it is the 76th season of Swiss professional hockey. It was won by ZSC Lions after beating Kloten Flyers 4-0 in the playoff final. National League B
The Swiss League, also known as the Sky Swiss League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League (ice hockey), National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. In 2024, the Swiss League changed its name to Sky Swiss League as a partnership with broadcaster Sky Switzerland. HC Thurgau
Hockey Club Thurgau is a Swiss professional ice hockey club based in Weinfelden, Switzerland. The club was founded in 1989 and currently plays in the Swiss League (SL) at the Güttingersreuti, with a capacity of 3,200. History HC Thurgau emerged from the merging of clubs EHC Frauenfeld and EHC Weinfelden. With the best players of the two ice hockey clubs, both located in Canton Thurgau, were to play as HC Thurgau. The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and the highest level of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. During the 2018–19 season, the league had an average of 6,949 spectators per game which is the highest among European leagues (ahead of the KHL with 6,397 and the DEL with 6,215). The capital city's club SC Bern has been ranked first of all European clubs for 18 seasons and had an average attendance of 16,290 after the regular season. A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play.
