Enyimba Football Club, commonly known as Enyimba, is a Nigerian professional football club based in the city of Aba, Abia State which plays in the Nigerian Professional Football League. Their name means ''People's Elephant'' in Igbo language and is also the nickname used for the city of Aba. Founded in 1976, the club rose to prominence in the 2000s and is considered the most successful Nigerian football club as they have won two African Champions League titles, nine Nigerian championships and four Federation Cups since 2001. Their most recent league glory came in the 2022–23 season. The Enyimba International Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Aba, Nigeria, Aba, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and serves as the home ground of Enyimba F.C. Following renovations in 2018, the stadium holds 16,000 people. Kadiri Ikhana
Kadiri Ikhana (born 31 December 1951) is a Nigerian football coach and former player who last managed Kano Pillars. Playing career Ikhana played as a midfielder for Bendel Insurance, winning the league in 1979 and the FA Cup in 1978 and 1980. Ikhana represented Nigeria at international level, playing for them in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games. He won the 1980 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria. Coaching career Ikhana has coached a number of Nigerian club sides, including El-Kanemi Warriors, BCC Lions, Kwara United, Sunshine Stars, Sharks and Giwa. In 1995, he managed Mohammedan SC in Bangladesh, before being sacked for a poor run of results in the league. Ikhana managed Nigeria's Enyimba, winning the African Champions League in 2003. Ismaily Sporting Club () is an Egyptian football club, established on 20 March 1921 as El Nahda Sporting Club () ( Egyptian pronunciation: Nady El Nahda), based in Ismaïlia, Egypt. The club is best known for its football team. BCC Lions Football Club (Benue Cement Company Lions Football Club) was a Nigerian football team based in Gboko, Benue State. It competed at various levels in the Nigerian League system, including the Nigeria Amateur League and the Nigeria Professional League, gaining glory at some periods until its decline and eventual phasing out. Its home games were played at the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka Stadium. Some efforts made to resuscitate the team proved fruitless.
