Enrico Degano (born 11 March 1976 in Gorizia) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer who rode for UCI Professional Continental team Barloworld until the team's demise. He was the first rider to start the prologue of the 2007 Tour de France, although had to abandon during stage 7 of the race due to a crash. Gorizia (; sl, Gorica , colloquially 'old Gorizia' to distinguish it from Nova Gorica; fur, label=Standard Friulian, Gurize, fur, label= Southeastern Friulian, Guriza; vec, label= Bisiacco, Gorisia; german: Görz ; obsolete English ''Goritz'') is a town and ''comune'' in northeastern Italy, in the autonomous region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Since 1947, a twin town of Nova Gorica has developed on the other side of the modern-day Italy–Slovenia border. Ronde van Drenthe ( en, Tour of Drenthe) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union.
