''Enlighten Me'' is the third full-length album by American singer-songwriter Jaymay, released in 2015. It was recorded in Los Angeles, California and at Snow God Studios in Brooklyn, New York. "Never Weep" is adapted from and contains text from the poem entitled “For Una” by Robinson Jeffers. "We Say Goodbye" is an alternate version of the recording from '' Jaymay in Norway'' (2014). Jamie Seerman is an American singer-songwriter from New York. She performs under the name Jaymay. Early life Jaymay was born Jamie Seerman on January 3, 1981, and was raised on Long Island. For undergrad, she studied at New College of Florida, Columbia University and Hunter College in New York City, as well as Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy. After graduating from New College in 2003, she moved to NYC, where she began regularly performing at the Sidewalk Cafe’s Open Mic every Monday night. Career Jaymay has played live concerts supporting Bright Eyes, Bon Iver, Beirut, Teddy Thompson, A.A. Folk Rock

Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, label, and club and gig circuit. Robinson Jeffers
John Robinson Jeffers (January 10, 1887 – January 20, 1962) was an American poet, known for his work about the central California coast. Much of Jeffers's poetry was written in narrative and epic form. However, he is also known for his shorter verse and is considered an icon of the environmental movement. Influential and highly regarded in some circles, despite or because of his philosophy of "inhumanism", Jeffers believed that transcending conflict required human concerns to be de-emphasized in favor of the boundless whole. This led him to oppose U.S. participation in World War II, a stance that was controversial after the U.S. entered the war. Michael Glen Block (born May 25, 1982) is an American cellist, singer, composer, and arranger. Career Block has worked with Yo-Yo Ma, Bobby McFerrin, Lenny Kravitz, Shakira, The National, Joe Zawinul, Alison Krauss, Rachel Barton Pine, and Mark O'Connor. Block plays with the Silk Road Ensemble. In January, 2014, Block married fiddler and composer Hanneke Cassel. He attended Cleveland Institute of Music (B.M. 2004) and The Juilliard School.
