Dinah Shelton
Dinah Shelton is an American lawyer. She has been a university professor and served as commissioner for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights between 2010 and 2013. Education Shelton studied law at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as at the University of Edinburgh, in the United Kingdom. Career She has worked as an international law consultant for the World Health Organization, the United Nations Environment Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, and the European Council, among other international organizations. Shelton was also the director the Office of Staff Attorneys at the United States Court of Appeals of the Ninth Circuit and, at the International Institute of Human Rights, Director of Studies. Howard Adelman
Howard Adelman (January 7, 1938 – July 23, 2023) was a Canadian philosopher and university professor. He retired as Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at York University in 2003. Adelman was one of the founders of Rochdale College, as well as the founder and director of York's Centre for Refugee Studies. Zev Garber is an American academic. He is Professor Emeritus and Chair of Jewish Studies at Los Angeles Valley College, and the editor of ''Shofar'', a peer-reviewed academic journal of Jewish Studies. He is the former president of the National Association of Professors of Hebrew. He was the subject of a Festschrift in 2009. Adrian Dietrich Lothar von Trotha (3 July 1848 – 31 March 1920) was a German military commander during the European new colonial era. As a brigade commander of the East Asian Expedition Corps, he was involved in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion in Qing China, commanding troops which made up the German contribution to the Eight-Nation Alliance. He later served as governor of German South West Africa and Commander in Chief of its colonial forces, in which role he suppressed a native rebellion during the Herero Wars. He was widely condemned for his brutality in the Herero Wars, particularly for his role in the genocide of the Nama Khoekhoe and the Herero.
