Encanto, Phoenix
Encanto Village is one of the 15 Urban villages that make up the Phoenix, Arizona, City of Phoenix, in Arizona. The village, centered along Central Avenue, is home to the popular Central Avenue Corridor, Midtown and Melrose Districts, as well as many historic neighborhoods, including Encanto, its namesake. As of 2010, Encanto had a population of 54,614 residents. Geography The community is located in Central Phoenix. At about 8 square miles, it is the city's smallest urban village by area, and, consequently, one of its densest. The western border of the village is the Interstate 17 in Arizona, I-17 Black Canyon Freeway, and the southern border is McDowell Road. The Grand Canal makes up the northern and eastern border. Woodlea Historic District
The Woodlea Historic District is located in central Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The neighborhood runs from Glenrosa Ave. south to Monterosa St. and from Seventh Ave. west to Fifteenth Ave. The neighborhood as well as many of the individual houses are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The neighborhood is known for its tree shaded sidewalks, abundant plant life and is served by an antique irrigation system from the Grand Canal. Alhambra is an urban village of Phoenix, Arizona. Location Alhambra encompasses an area south of Northern Avenue, west of 7th Street, east of 43rd Avenue, and north of Grand Avenue or the Grand Canal.
