Enamel (song)
"Enamel" is the eighteenth single by Japanese visual kei rock band SID, released on August 27, 2014 by Ki/oon Records. It is the opening theme of Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus. Background In May, it was announced that Sid's new song "Enamel" would be used as the opening theme for Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus. Sid had already composed the first opening theme of Kuroshitsuji saga, "Monochrome no Kiss". The B-side of "Enamel" is "Kagee" (影絵) and the third track is a live version of "Monochrome no Kiss", recorded on a tour celebrating Sid's 10th anniversary in 2013. On July 3, a program about the anime, comments from Sid members and interviews with voice actors and producers of the anime aired. Since April, the group has been on tour to promote the album ''Outsider''. It ended on July 6 and was a mostly national tour, but featured one performance in Hong Kong and in Taiwan. Sid (band)
is a Japanese visual kei rock band, formed in 2003 and signed to Sony Records. Background SID (シド) was founded in 2003 by vocalist Mao (ex-Shula) and bassist Aki (ex-Ram Rem). They were joined by two support members, guitarist Shinji (ex-Uranus) and drummer Yuuya (ex-Shula). The four of them released the band's first demo CD, ''Yoshigai Manabu 17-sai (Mushoku)'' (吉開学 17歳 (無職)), on mini-disc that August and soon after, they signed on with Danger Crue Records. Though SID technically began in 2003, the band considers January 14, 2004 the date of their 'birth' as it was announced at their show at the Meguro Rock May Kan that Shinji and Yuuya would be joining as official members. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. The ''Billboard Japan'' Hot 100 is a record chart in Japan for songs. It has been compiled by ''Billboard Japan'' and '' Hanshin Contents Link'' since February 2008. The Oricon Singles Chart is the Japanese music industry-standard singles popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Until 2017, Oricon did not track download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s, while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales. In November 2017, Oricon introduced its first digital songs chart, separate from its main physical singles chart. In November 2018, Oricon launched a streaming chart, and introduced a combined singles chart that utilizes physical single sales, downloads, and streams.
