Enakta Leiringei
''Enakta Leiringei'' (English: ''When You're Near Me'') is a 2017 Manipuri film directed by Manoranjan Longjam. It stars Kaiku Rajkumar and Soma Laishram in the lead roles. ''Enakta Leiringei'' got Best Feature Film award at the 11th Manipur State Film Awards 2018. It was released at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound, on 28 October 2017. It had its regular theatrical screenings at Usha Cinema, Paona Bazar in July 2018. Kaiku Rajkumar
Rajkumar Kaiku (born ) is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Manipuri films. Kaiku made his film debut with the 2003 romantic film ''Kalpana''. He has appeared in more than 400 Manipuri films. Some of his films are ''Ta-Tomba the Great'', '' Nungshit Mapi'', and ''Mami''. In addition to films, he has also worked in ''Shumang Kumhei'' including ''Border''. He contested the 2019 Parliamentary election in the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency as an independent candidate. In February 2022, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Soma Laishram
Soma Laishram (born 5 January 1992) is an Indian actress and singer who appears in Manipuri films. She is a native of Imphal, Manipur. ''Nurei'', ''Hoo Chaage'', ''Loibataare Ta Raju'', and ''Chanu IPS'' are some of her famous movies. In September 2021, Laishram joined the Republican Party of India - Athawale (RPI-A) and assumed the post of state unit president of its youth girls’ wing. Early life and education She did her schooling from Little Flowers School and Temple of Learning, Imphal. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from CMJ University. Career Laishram appeared in teleplays, drama and anchored as a programme presenter in DDK Imphal. Her first music video album was ''Hey Girl'' alongside ''Mahes Thounaojam''. The Cinema of Manipur is the film industry based in Manipur, India. It includes not only Meitei language movies but all the films made in different languages of the different communities in Manipur. The Manipuri film industry was born when '' Matamgi Manipur'' was released on 9 April 1972. Before this, there were many attempts to make a film in the state, the most significant being ''Mainu Pemcha'' in 1948 which was left incomplete due to various problems. Jiribam
Jiribam ( Meitei pronunciation:/jee-ree-baam/) is a municipal council in the Jiribam district of the state of Manipur, India. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in Manipur. The town is located on the state's westernmost boundary, adjoining the Cachar district of Assam. It is also known as the western gate of Manipur. Aribam Syam Sharma
Aribam Syam Sharma is an Indian filmmaker and composer from Manipur. He debuted in the first Manipuri film '' Matamgi Manipur'' as an actor. In 1974, he directed his first movie '' Lamja Parshuram''. It became the first Manipuri film to run for 100 days in the box office. His 1979 film '' Olangthagee Wangmadasoo'' was the first ever and the only Manipuri film to run for 32 weeks.
