History Founded in 1981, Emtek began making a limited range of solid brass door levers for specialty hardware dealers in the Los Angeles area; they are now distributed through all of North America. The City of Industry is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. Vern Yip (born June 27, 1968, in Hong Kong) is an American interior designer based in Atlanta, Georgia.
