Empire Polo Club
The Empire Polo Club is a 1,000-acre event venue in Indio, California, located in the Coachella Valley of Riverside County, California, Riverside County, approximately 22 miles southeast of Palm Springs, California, Palm Springs. It was founded in 1987 for use by polo players, hosting international polo tournaments. Since 1993, the grounds have been leased out for events, including the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach Festival in April. ''Polo Times'' is a magazine about polo. Overview ''Polo Times'' was established in 1995 by Margaret Brett while she was working for the Hurlingham Polo Association. Desert Trip was a six-day music festival that took place on October 7–9 and 14–16, 2016, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, United States. The performers were The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters, and The Who. Phish is an American rock band formed in Burlington, Vermont, in 1983.
