Emmitt Mack Williams V (born September 15, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played college basketball for the LSU Tigers. High school career As a freshman, Williams played for Lehigh Senior High School in Lehigh Acres, Florida, where he averaged 15.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, for his sophomore season. At IMG Academy, he was teammates with highly touted recruits Trevon Duval and Silvio De Sousa and played for one of the best teams in the country. In the 2015–16 season, Williams averaged 16.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, playing in the power forward position. Emmitt Earl Thomas (born June 3, 1943) is an American former professional football player and coach in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the now defunct Bishop College. He played professionally as a cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. He owns the Chiefs all-time interception record with 58, which places him ninth on pro football's all-time list. Thomas was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame after being nominated by the Seniors Committee. Thomas became a coach after his playing career. Emmitt James Smith III (born May 15, 1969) is an American former professional football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, 13 as a member of the Dallas Cowboys and 2 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Emmitt Peters Sr. (October 1, 1940 – April 2, 2020) the "Yukon Fox", was an Alaskan American hunter, fisher, trapper, and dog musher. The last rookie to win the 1,049 mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race (in 1975), he and his lead dogs Nugget and Digger shattered the previous speed record by almost six days.
