Emmanuel Thibault
Emmanuel Thibault (born 1974) is a French dancer. After early studies with Max Bozzoni, he was admitted to the Paris Opera Ballet School and was educated there. At the age of fifteen, Thibault joined the Paris Opera, thereupon becoming a student of the ballerina Noëlla Pontois, with whom he continues to work to this day. Appointed Soloist (sujet) at the age of seventeen, he was appointed Principal (premier danseur) following the Internal Promotion Contest (Concours interne de promotion) on December 23, 2004. Since 2004, Thibault has been working closely with the première danseuse Myriam Ould-Braham, and has danced with her all over Europe. The New York Sun
''The New York Sun'' is an American online newspaper published in Manhattan; from 2002 to 2008 it was a daily newspaper distributed in New York City. Paris Opera
The Paris Opera (, ) is the primary opera and ballet company of France. It was founded in 1669 by Louis XIV as the , and shortly thereafter was placed under the leadership of Jean-Baptiste Lully and officially renamed the , but continued to be known more simply as the . Myriam Ould-Braham
Myriam Ould-Braham (born January 1982) is a French ballet dancer. After joining the Paris Opera Ballet in 1999, she became a ''première danseuse'' (principal) in 2005 and was elevated to the rank of ''étoile'' (star) in 2012. Early life Born in Paris, Ould-Braham's father is Algerian, her mother French. Taking an early interest in gymnastics in Algiers, she later turned to dance, finding it was more fun to move about with music. In 1993 she began ballet lessons with Yvonne Goubé at the Salle Pleyel before attending the Conservatoire de Paris in 1995. Léonide Massine
Leonid Fyodorovich Myasin (russian: Леони́д Фёдорович Мя́син), better known in the West by the French transliteration as Léonide Massine (15 March 1979), was a Russian choreographer and ballet dancer. Massine created the world's first symphonic ballet, ''Les Présages'', and many others in the same vein. Besides his "symphonic ballets," Massine choreographed many other popular works during his long career, some of which were serious and dramatic, and others lighthearted and romantic. He created some of his most famous roles in his own comic works, among them the Can-Can Dancer in ''La Boutique fantasque'' (1919), the Hussar in ''Le Beau Danube'' (1924), and, perhaps best known of all, the Peruvian in ''Gaîté Parisienne'' (1938). Pierre Lacotte
Pierre Lacotte (born 4 April 1932) is a French ballet dancer and choreographer who specialised in the reconstruction of lost choreographies of romantic ballets. His mother was an affirmed musician and he manifested very early his interest for dance. After an initial reluctance, his family surrendered to his stubbornness so that Lacotte could become a student of Gustave Ricaux, who taught at the Paris Opera. In 1946 he was engaged in the Paris Opera Ballet and in 1953 became a principal dancer. Among his teachers at the Paris Opera Ballet School where Lubov Egorova, Carlotta Zambelli and the choreographer Serge Lifar, who chose Paulette Dynalix, Claude Bessy and Lacotte as the three interpretive dancers of ''Septuor'', a single-act ballet presented in Paris on 25 January 1950.
