Emmanuel Ohene Boafo
Emmanuel Ohene Boafo (born 4 July 1993) is a Dutch- Ghanaian actor. He plays the Dutch voice of Black Panther in the What if...? animation series and in 2021 he became the first black actor to win the prestigious Louis d'Or, for his version of the monologue ''Sea Wall''. He was born in a Ghanaian family in the town of Meppel in the Netherlands. Early life As a child he played the drums, but after seeing the play ''Backfire'' by youth theatre group ''Jong Rast'', he wanted to become an actor. His parents were immigrants from Ghana. Acting career His acting career started when he joined ''Jong Rast'', lead by artistic director Elike Roovers. To avoid a conflict with his father, he had promised to quit acting after a performance in the play ''I don't care'', but was eventually cast for a role in the film ''Exit''. Meppel (; Drents: ''Möppelt'') is a city and municipality in the Northeastern Netherlands. It constitutes the southwestern part of the province of Drenthe. Meppel is the smallest municipality in Drenthe, with a total area of about 57 km² (22 sq mi). As of 1 July 2021, it had a population of 34,506 with over 30,000 inhabitants within city limits. ''Sonic the Hedgehog 2'' is a 2022 action-adventure comedy film based on the video game series published by Sega, and the sequel to ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' (2020). BNNVARA
BNNVARA () is a broadcasting association and network within the Dutch public broadcasting system. History BNNVARA was founded on 1 January 2014 through a merger of the BNN (founded 1997) and VARA (founded 1925) associations. These continued to exist without broadcasting directly until 2018. In 2011 VARA and BNN announced that they would merge. On 6 November 2011 the members of VARA voted for the merger, after the member council of BNN had already done so a week earlier. Eric de Vroedt (Rotterdam, 1972) is a Dutch theater director, writer and actor. Career After his graduation from the Arnhem School of Acting in 1996 he realized his ambition was to be a director and writer rather than an actor. He is an established guest director at Toneelgroep Amsterdam and Schauspielhaus Bochum in Germany, and has directed for Theater Dortmund. At Toneelgroep Amsterdam he directs plays predominantly from an Anglo-Sakson repertoire. For the German theaters, he elects plays from a repertoire of Dutch works instead.
