Emmanuel (EP)
''Emmanuel'' (stylized in all caps) is the second extended play (EP) by American rapper Ameer Vann. It was released on September 18, 2019, by Winston Wolf, LLC and The Orchard. The EP is his first solo release since his departure from Brockhampton following sexual misconduct allegations in 2018. Release and promotion On September 16, 2019, Vann posted on Instagram himself and a billboard with the album cover, the text reading "AMEER VANN AVAILABLE NOW EMMANUEL". The EP was released at midnight for each time zone respectively, with New Zealand being the first. On September 18, 2019, Vann released the music video for the title track, "Emmanuel". More music videos were released for the tracks "Los Angeles" and "Glock 19" on October 1, 2019 and December 17, 2019, respectively. Ameer Vann
Ameer Emmanuel Vann (born September 22, 1996) is an American rapper. He is best known for being a member of music collective Brockhampton, until his departure from the group in May 2018. After leaving Brockhampton, Vann started his solo career and released his first commercial EP, '' Emmanuel'', in September 2019. Early life Ameer Emmanuel Vann was born in Houston, Texas, on September 22, 1996. He attended The Woodlands High School in Texas with future Brockhampton bandmates Kevin Abstract, Joba, Matt Champion, and Merlyn Wood. He held various jobs before joining Brockhampton, including working in a slaughterhouse and as a trash collector. Vann has also revealed in several songs that he has had a pill addiction due to sleeping problems, and often sold drugs from his mother's house. Chad Lamont Butler (December 29, 1973 – December 4, 2007), better known by his stage name Pimp C, was an American rapper and record producer. He was best known for his work with Bun B as one half of the hip-hop duo Underground Kingz (UGK).
