Emma Gilmour
Emma Gilmour (born 30 September 1979) is a rally driver from New Zealand currently competing in Extreme E with McLaren XE. Early and personal life Gilmour was born in Dunedin in 1979. Her father and maternal grandfather were both mechanics. Before taking up motor racing in her early 20s she was an equestrian representing Otago–Southland in eventing and participating in the New Zealand development squads. Gilmour runs a Suzuki car dealership in Dunedin outside of racing. The 2022 Energy X-Prix (formally the 2022 Uruguay Natural Energy X-Prix) was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 26 and 27 November 2022 near José Ignacio, Maldonado Department, Uruguay, about 25 km east of the seaside city of Punta del Este. It was the fifth and final round of the electric off-road racing car series' second season, and also marked the first running of the event. The 2022 Copper X-Prix (formally the 2022 Antofagasta Minerals Copper X-Prix) was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 24 and 25 September 2022 in the small mining city of Calama, in the Atacama Desert in the Chilean region of Antofagasta. The 2022 Island X-Prix (formally the 2022 Neom Island X-Prix) was a pair of Extreme E off-road races that was held on 6, 7, 9 and 10 July 2022 at Capo Teulada, in the Sulcis-Iglesiente region of the Italian island of Sardinia. It marked the second and third rounds of the electric off-road racing car series' second season, as well as the second running of the event. The 2021 Jurassic X-Prix was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 18 and 19 December 2021 at Bovington Camp, in Dorset, England. It was the fifth and last round of the electric off-road racing car series' inaugural season. A significant rule adjustment was introduced for the event to accommodate the short nature of the circuit, each session now consisting of three laps, with the starting driver, who in the final would be the female driver, taking the first two.
