Richard Dawson (born Colin Lionel Emm; 20 November 1932 – 2 June 2012) was an English-American actor, comedian, game-show host, and panelist. Dawson was well known for playing Corporal Peter Newkirk in ''Hogan's Heroes'', as a regular panelist on ''Match Game'' (1973–1978), and as the original host of ''Family Feud'' (1976–1985, 1994–95). Early life Colin Lionel Emm was born in Gosport, Hampshire, England, on 20 November 1932 to Arthur Emm (born 1897) and Josephine Lucy Emm ( Lindsay; born 1903). His father drove a removal van and his mother worked in a munitions factory. Emm Gryner (born in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, recording artist, and author. She has released 20 albums as a solo performer, and has collaborated with artists including David Bowie and Chris Hadfield. Early life Gryner's childhood was spent in Forest, Ontario. Her father was of half Irish heritage and her mother was Filipina. She started to learn piano at age 4, picked up bass around age 14, and later took up guitar as well. EMM (psychedelic)
EMM (2-ethoxy-4,5-dimethoxyamphetamine) is a lesser-known substituted amphetamine. It is a dimethoxy-ethoxy analog of trimethoxyamphetamine (TMA-2). EMM was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book ''PiHKAL'', both the dosage and duration are unknown. EMM produces few to no effects. Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of EMM. Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) is a mission agency based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. EMM equips, sends, and supports mission workers in more than 30 countries. History In 1894, a group of 12 Lancaster County Mennonites formed a group called Home Mission Advocates for the purpose of aiding in local mission work. Electronic Music Midwest (EMM) is a festival of new electroacoustic music. History EMM is the result of a consortium formed between Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC), Lewis University, and the University of Missouri–Kansas City. This festival was founded by Mike McFerron, Connie Mayfield, and Paul Rudy in 2000 when it was presented at KCKCC under the name "Kansas City Electronic Music Festival." In 2001, the festival continued at Lewis University under the title, "Electronic Music at Lewis - 2001." Electronic Music Midwest became the official name at the 2002 festival held at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Emm Brook
The Emm Brook, sometimes known as the Embrook or Emmbrook, is a small river in the English county of Berkshire. It is a tributary of the River Loddon which it meets at the village of Hurst. The Wokingham suburb of Emmbrook is named after the river. The Emm Brook passes through Dinton Pastures Country Park, where the original route has been diverted to enable gravel extraction in the 1970s. It flows along the eastern boundary of The Emmbrook School. On 20 July 2007 the river suffered a flash flood that breached banks at Emmbrook School, among others. It destroyed the ground floor rooms and computer suites causing them to be totally rebuilt over the summer holiday. The Emirates Mars Mission () is a United Arab Emirates Space Agency uncrewed space exploration mission to Mars. The ''Hope'' probe (, ''Misbar Al-Amal'') was launched on 20 July 2020, and went into orbit around Mars on 9 February 2021. The project was headed by Omran Sharaf. 200 Emirati scientists and engineers from the UAE and partner institutes were involved in the project.
