Emily Dickson (actress)
Emily Dickson (born May 23, 1997) is a Canadian biathlete from Burns Lake, British Columbia. Career Junior Dickson made her debut as part of Canada's team at the Biathlon World Youth Championships in 2013. At the 2015 Canada Winter Games, Dickson won three medals in the biathlon events, one of each colour. Senior Dickson started the 2021–22 season by competing on the IBU Cup tour. Burns Lake
Burns Lake is a rural village in the British Columbia Interior, north-western-central interior of British Columbia, Canada, incorporated in 1923. The village had a population of 1,659 as of the 2021 Census. The village is known for its rich First Nations in Canada, First Nations heritage, and for its network of mountain biking trails, which have received acclaim by becoming Canada's first International Mountain Bicycling Association, IMBA Ride Centre. In winter, cross country skiing trails and snowmobile wilderness trails are created. Biathlon World Championships 2024
The 2024 Biathlon World Championships took place from 7 to 18 February 2024 at the Vysočina Arena in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic. After 2013, the championship was held for the second time in this location. The event was the highlight of the 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup, but was not included in its rankings (except for the national rankings). A total of 12 events were held: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start and relay races for both men, women, single mixed relay and a mixed relay.
