Emilio Perasso
Emilio Perasso is an Argentine rugby union coach. He was the coach of San Isidro Club for more than 25 years. He was in charge of Argentina for three times, all of them in partnership with other coaches. The first was in 1974, with Carlos Villegas and Jorge Merelle, the second was from 1976 to 1977, with Carlos Villegas, and the third in 1995, with Alejandro Petra, after the disappointing elimination at the 1995 Rugby World Cup finals Pool Stage. Perasso was considered for head coach of Argentina once again in 1999. San Isidro Club
San Isidro Club (mostly known for its acronym SIC) is an Argentine sports club based in the Boulogne Sur Mer district of Greater Buenos Aires. The club has gained recognition due to its rugby union team, being one of the most successful clubs of Argentina with 26 Torneo de la URBA championships won. SIC has also won 4 Nacional de Clubes tournaments. The senior team currently competes in Top 12, the highest division of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires league system while the field hockey team plays at tournaments organised by the Buenos Aires Hockey Association (AHBA). Carlos Arturo Villegas Retana (born 3 March 1999) is a Costa Rican footballer who plays as a winger for Municipal Grecia, on loan from Deportivo Saprissa. Club career Deportivo Saprissa Villegas is a product of Deportivo Saprissa and was promoted to the senior squad in 2017, under the command of coach Carlos Watson. For the start of the Summer Championship that took place on January 8, Saprissa was going to face San Carlos, with Villegas on the bench for the first time. 17-year old Villegas made his professional debut one month later, on 8 February 2017, against Belén FC, when he came on as a substitute for Anderson Leite in the 69th minute, and the result ended with an unexpected 0-1 defeat. 1995 Rugby World Cup
The 1995 Rugby World Cup was the third Rugby World Cup. It was hosted and won by South Africa, and was the first Rugby World Cup in which every match was held in one country. The World Cup was the first major sporting event to take place in South Africa following the end of apartheid. It was also the first World Cup in which South Africa was allowed to compete; the International Rugby Football Board (IRFB, now World Rugby) had only readmitted South Africa to international rugby in 1992, following negotiations to end apartheid. The World Cup was also the last major event of rugby union's amateur era; two months after the tournament, the IRFB opened the sport to professionalism.
