Emilijus Zubas
Emilijus Zubas (born 10 July 1990) is a Lithuanian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv. Daugava Rīga Before the start of the 2013 Latvian Higher League season Zubas signed a long-term contract with Daugava Rīga moving from the Lithuanian A Lyga club FK Ekranas. With Artūrs Vaičulis filling the first keeper's spot, Zubas was loaned out to the Polish Ekstraklasa club GKS Bełchatów. Despite remarkable individual performance his club was relegated from the Ekstraklasa and Zubas returned to Daugava Rīga. For the second half of the 2013 season he was loaned out to the Cypriot First Division club AEK Larnaca. Before the start of the 2014 season Zubas was loaned to the Danish Superliga club Viborg FF. In July 2014 Zubas was recalled from loan and filled in Daugava's entry for the UEFA Europa League match against Aberdeen. A Lyga
The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. The A Lyga is an abbreviation of Aukščiausia lyga meaning Highest League. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation LFF ( lt, Lietuvos Futbolo Federacija). The Aukščiausia lyga also existed during the Soviet period of Lithuania, but was not considered to be a professional league until dissolution of the Soviet Union. The league size has varied between 8 and 12 teams in the recent seasons, however 2020 A Lyga the league featured record low of only 6 teams. But in the latest 2021 A Lyga season there were 10 teams. The final list of participants often does not correlate to the final results of the previous season, as the participation is finalized through the Lithuanian Football Federation league licensing process. The 2016–17 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 78th season of Israel's nationwide Association football cup competition and the 63rd after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. Israel State Cup
The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. The current holders of the State Cup are the Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Haifa, who beat Beitar Jerusalem in the 2018 final on May 9, 2018. Maccabi Tel Aviv have 23 titles, having the record for most titles won. Hapoel Tel Aviv in 1937–1939 and 2010–2012 are the only club to have retained the State Cup for three consecutive seasons. The Lithuanian Football Federation Cup ( lt, Lietuvos futbolo federacijos taurė), also known as Hegelmann LFF Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a Lithuanian football cup competition contested in a knockout tournament format. The winner of the cup gains entitlement to participate in the Lithuanian Supercup as well as the UEFA Europa Conference League. The 2011 A Lyga was the 22nd season of the A Lyga, the top-tier football league of Lithuania. The season began on 12 March 2011 and ended on 6 November 2011. Ekranas were the defending champions, having won their third consecutive title at the end of the 2010 season. The 2012–13 Ekstraklasa or T-Mobile Ekstraklasa for sponsorship reasons, was the 79th season of the highest level of football leagues in Poland since its establishment in 1927. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated.
