Emilie Viqueira
Emilie Viqueira (born March 21, 1969) is a Puerto Rican former professional tennis player. Biography Viqueira, who comes from Mayagüez, began competing on the professional tour in the late 1980s. She featured mostly on the ITF circuit, winning six titles in doubles. All of her WTA Tour main draw appearances came at her home tournament, the Puerto Rico Open. During her career she played college tennis for UC Berkeley, where she earned All-American honors in 1990 and 1991. At representative level, Viqueira was a mixed doubles bronze medalist at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana and represented the Puerto Rico Fed Cup team in 16 ties from 1992 to 1997. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Jillian Alexander-Brower (2 April 1968 - 25 October 2004) was a Canadian professional tennis player. Alexander was Jamaican by birth, but raised in Oakville, Ontario from the age of nine. She played college tennis for the University of Florida and won the 1991 NCAA Division I doubles championship with Nicole Arendt. On the professional tour she reached a career best singles ranking of 303 in the world and had a best doubles ranking of 243. Paula Andrea Cabezas (born 21 August 1972) is a Chilean former professional tennis player. Biography Born in Santiago, Cabezas competed on the professional tour in the 1990s, mostly on the ITF Circuit, winning 14 singles and 17 doubles titles. Her WTA Tour performances include a semifinal appearance in the doubles at São Paulo in 1991, partnering with Andrea Vieira. She qualified for her only singles main draw at the 1995 Puerto Rico Open. Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area.
