Emiliano Elias Zapata (born August 12, 1986) is an Argentine football offensive midfielder . Career He has previously played in Argentine Torneo Argentino B, and in Primera B Metropolitana. He started playing for the National Technological University Team in 2006. The same year he started training for Sportivo Belgrano, but his first official game was in April 2007 when he played a few minutes entering from the bench. During 2007–2008 he played 20 official matches scoring 13 goals. Primera B Metropolitana is one of two professional leagues that form the third level of the Argentine football league system. The division is made up of 17 clubs mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area, Greater Buenos Aires. Originally created as the second division, it became the third level after a restructuring of the system in 1985 that ended with the creation of Primera B Nacional, set as the second division since then. The other league at level three is the Torneo Federal A, where teams from regional leagues take part. Torneo Argentino B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Torneo Argentino B season would end with the top teams from each zone playing in cross-over playoffs, culminating with overall champions and a number of teams (varied by season) eligible for promotion to the following season's Torneo Argentino A competition.
