Emeric Dudouit
Emeric Dudouit (born 7 September 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Belgian club Virton. Dudouit progressed through the youth system at Caen but never made a first-team appearance for the club and transferred to Châteauroux in the summer of 2012. He made his professional debut on 18 January 2013, coming on as a substitute for Yohan Hautcoeur in the 0–2 defeat to Le Mans. Dudouit went on to play 37 matches in all competitions for the club over the next two-and-a-half years before leaving at the end of the 2014–15 season. He signed for Les Herbiers in June 2015. In June 2016 Dudoit moved to Belgium, signing a two-year deal with First Division B side Tubize. In his second season, Tubize finished bottom of the relegation playoffs, and Dudoit was one of a number of players to leave the club almost immediately, signing for divisional rivals Beerschot. Coutances () is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. History Capital of the Unelli, a Gaulish tribe, the town was given the name of ''Constantia'' in 298 during the reign of Roman emperor Constantius Chlorus. The surrounding region, called in Latin the ''pagus Constantinus'', subsequently became known as the Cotentin Peninsula. The 2019–20 Championnat National season was the 27th season since the establishment of the Championnat National, and the 22nd in its current format, which serves as the third division of the French football league system. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 28 April 2020, the French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced that there would be no sporting events, even behind closed doors, before September 2020, thus in effect ending the season. 2019–20 Belgian First Division B
The 2019–20 season of the Belgian First Division B began in August 2019 and was scheduled to end in April 2020 but will eventually conclude on 2 August 2020 with the return leg of the promotion playoff. Since mid-March all matches had been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, which was just a few days before the return leg of the promotion play-offs was to be played. A few weeks later, Lokeren was declared bankrupt and ceased to exist, while both Roeselare and Virton were refused a professional football license due to financial difficulties, meaning they were both relegated and no relegation play-offs were necessary. On 15 May 2020, the general meeting of the Belgian Pro League clubs decided to end the season, with the exception of the return leg of the promotion play-offs. The 2018–19 season of the Belgian First Division B began in August 2018 and ended in April 2019. It was the third season of the First Division B following a change in league format from the old Belgian Second Division. The season was impacted by the 2017–19 Belgian football fraud scandal which most notably involved Mechelen, as it was unclear upon completion of the season whether and how any involved clubs would be sanctioned and what the effect would be on the number of promotion and relegation places.
