Emanuele Zanini
Emanuele Zanini (born 15 April 1965) is an Italian professional volleyball coach. He currently serves as head coach for the Belgium national team. Career as coach He studied physical education at the University of Bologna graduating in 1988. He became a head coach in 2000. Zanini coached in his career several teams in Italy and also in Austria, Slovakia, France and Poland. In 1999–2000, he served as an assistant and a coach of physical preparation of the Italy men's national volleyball team. Since 2008, he has coached Slovakian men's national team for four seasons leading to their best results in the history. In August 2013, he was appointed a head coach of the Turkey men's national team for three years. He replaced Bosnian-born Frenchman Veljko Basic, who served at this post since 2010. 2008 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2008 Men's European Volleyball League was the fifth edition of the European Volleyball League, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The final Four was held in Bursa, Turkey from 19 to 20 July 2008. For the first time Great Britain joined the competition and it will also enter it as a unified team as a result of a FIVB decision which allows the United Kingdom to play as a unified team in order to prepare for the next 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Austria and Belarus also joined the European League for the first time. The tournament was won by Slovakia, defeating the Netherlands by 3–1 in the finals. 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 24 to 31 August 2015. This was the second edition of the tournament. Competition formula The competition format will see the 12 teams split into two pools of six teams playing in round robin format. The semifinals will feature the top two teams from each pool.
