Emanuel Sharp
Emanuel Christopher Sharp (; born March 7, 2004) is a college basketball player for the Houston Cougars men's basketball, Houston Cougars of the Big 12 Conference. Early life and high school Coming out of high school, Sharp committed to play college basketball for the Houston Cougars men's basketball, Houston Cougars over other schools such as Texas Tech, Florida, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Arizona, Clemson, Penn State, SMU and USF. College career As a freshman in 2021–22, Sharp was Redshirt (college sports), redshirted. As a redshirt freshman in 2022–23, he averaged 5.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 33 games. In the second round of the 2024 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, Sharp led the way with 30 points and seven threes in a win over 2023–24 Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team, Texas A&M.
