Emanoil Manole Dumitrescu (1 June 1907 – 1 August 1988) was a Romanian football Forward (association football), striker. International career Emanoil Dumitrescu played three games at international level for Romania national football team, Romania, making his debut in a friendly which ended with a 3–2 victory against Bulgaria national football team, Bulgaria. He also played one game at the successful 1929–31 Balkan Cup in a 2–1 home victory against Yugoslavia national football team, Yugoslavia. Târgu Neamț (; , , , ) is a town in Neamț County, Western Moldavia, Romania, on the river Neamț. It had, , a population of 18,029. Three villages are administered by the town: Blebea, Humulești, and Humuleștii Noi. History Originally a market town, hence its name (in Romanian " târg" = ''market''), it had an important role in Moldavian culture. It was first mentioned in a late-14th century document. The Balkan Cup (officially ''Coupe Balkanique de Football'') was an international association football competition contested on and off from 1929 to 1980 by countries from the Balkans region. The most successful team was Romania with four titles. Overview The first edition featured Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria and was played over three years from 1929 to 1931. All teams played each other twice, home and away, and were awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw, with final ranking table determining the winner. Romania won the first title with a game in hand after beating Yugoslavia 4–2.
