Emani Bailey (born November 28, 2001) is an American professional football running back for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and the TCU Horned Frogs. Early life Bailey attended Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. During his career, he rushed for 4,026 yards and 51 touchdowns. He committed to the University of Louisiana to play college football. College career As a true freshman at Louisiana in 2020, he rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries over five games. As a sophomore in 2021, he played in 11 games and had 102 carries for 642 yards and eight touchdowns. After the season, he entered the transfer portal, and transferred to Texas Christian University (TCU). In his first year at TCU, he was the third running back behind Kendre Miller and Emari Demercado and had 31 carries for 250 yards and two touchdowns over 14 games. Emari Demercado (born January 20, 1999) is an American professional football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Saddleback Bobcats and TCU Horned Frogs and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cardinals after the 2023 NFL draft. Early life Demercado grew up in Inglewood, California, and attended Century Community Charter School in the heart of Inglewood. He also attended Downey High School. He committed to play college football at Saddleback College, a junior college in Mission Viejo, California. He is of Jamaican descent. The 2024 UFL draft, also known as the 2024 UFL college draft, was the first meeting of United Football League (UFL) franchises to select newly eligible players ahead of the 2025 UFL season. It was the first rookie draft since the league formed from the merger of the United States Football League (USFL) and XFL. The 2024 NFL draft was the 89th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players. The draft was held at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit on April 25–27, 2024. The draft had an attendance of over 775,000, breaking the record previously set in 2019.
