EmQuartier
The EmQuartier is a large shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand opened in May 2015. The mall is connected to Phrom Phong BTS Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain. It is one of three malls in the “EM District”, along with Emporium and EmSphere. All three buildings total an area of 2,500,000 square feet of mixed-use retail space and are located on a 50-rai plot of land adjacent to Benchasiri Park. The mall is operated by The Mall Group. Emporium (Bangkok)
Emporium is a luxury shopping mall in Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, Thailand. It opened on 27 July 1997. It is owned and operated by The Mall Group, who also operate the EmQuartier and Siam Paragon malls in Bangkok. It is on Sukhumvit Road at Sukhumvit Soi 24 beside Benchasiri Park. It is connected directly to the Phrom Phong Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain by a footbridge. Emporium is a major component of the "EM District" and contains a shopping mall, department store, a luxury cinema "Emprivé Cineclub by SF Corporation", a high-end supermarket, food court, office building, exhibition hall, children's play centres and a hotel. Watthana District
Watthana or Vadhana (, ) is one of the Districts of Bangkok, 50 districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. Neighbouring districts are (from the north clockwise): Ratchathewi district, Ratchathewi, Huai Khwang district, Huai Khwang, Suan Luang district, Suan Luang, Phra Khanong district, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei district, Khlong Toei, and Pathum Wan district, Pathum Wan. History Watthana became a separate district by splitting from Khlong Toei in 1998 to provide better service to its population. Thomas Leeser
Thomas Leeser (born December 12, 1952) is an American architect. He studied at the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt in Germany where he also got his master's degree in Architecture. He opened his own practice, Leeser Architecture in Brooklyn, New York, in 1989. Thomas Leeser has been teaching architecture at nine different universities (Columbia University, Cornell University, Harvard University, Pratt Institute, Illinois Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Parsons School of Design, The Cooper Union, and Princeton University). EmSphere
EmSphere is a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand which opened on 1 December 2023. It is the third mall in the "EM District" complex near Phrom Phong BTS station along with Emporium and EmQuartier. All three malls are operated by The Mall Group. 15 billion baht was invested in the development of the mall adjacent to Benchasiri Park. Sukhumvit Road (, , ), or Highway 3 (), is a major road in Thailand, and a major surface road of Bangkok and other cities.
