Elías Fernández Albano
Elías Fernández Albano (c. 1845 - September 6, 1910) was a Chilean politician, who was acting president of Chile from August 16, 1910 until his death. He was born in Santiago de Chile, the son of Juan de Dios Fernández Gana and María del Pilar Albano Vergara. He was great-grandson of Juan Albano Pereira Márquez.He studied at the Instituto Nacional and later graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile. He was accepted to the bar on May 18, 1869. On August 16, 1871, he married Mercedes Barañao Ochagavía. He was elected Deputy for Lontué in 1885 and reelected in 1891. In 1894 he was elected for the Talca, Curepto and Lontué district. Ramón Barros Luco
Ramón Barros Luco (; June 9, 1835 – September 20, 1919) was President of Chile between 1910 and 1915. Barros Luco was born in 1835 in Santiago, Barros Luco was son of Ramón Luis Barros Fernández and Dolores Luco Fernández de Leiva. He graduated from Law School in 1858. He died in Santiago in 1919. He was elected representative for the city of Casablanca in 1861, and from then on occupied a seat in the Lower House, being elected representative for Caldera (1867–70), Curicó (1870–73), Valparaíso (1873–76, and 1888–91), as well as for Santiago, during four separate terms, between 1876 and 1894. Later, he was elected senator for Linares (1900–06). In his position as President of the House of Deputies in 1891, he endorsed the move to dismiss the then President of the Republic, José Manuel Balmaceda, a move drawn up by the Congress. Rafael Segundo Sotomayor Gaete (November 16, 1848 – February 16, 1918) was a Chilean politician and several times minister. He was born in Cauquenes, the son of Rafael Sotomayor Baeza and Pabla del Carmen Gaete Ruiz. He studied at the Instituto Nacional and later graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile on January 7, 1871. During the War of the Pacific, he accompanied his father, who was the Minister of War, as personal secretary and auditor, and after his death, in 1880, he became CO of the Customs House Guard in Iquique and later Intendant of Tarapacá. On May 4, 1895, he married Inés Neuhaus Ugarteche, and together they had 6 children. He joined the Radical Party, and in 1898 President Federico Errázuriz Echaurren appointed him first as Minister of Finance (1898–1899) and later Minister of the Interior (1899).
