Eloy Luis André
Eloy Anselmo Luis y André (22 June 1876 – 24 May 1935) was a Spanish psychologist, philosopher, educator and Galicia (Spain), Galician writer. Biography He was born on 22 June 1876 in the Galicia (Spain), Galician town of Verín. While at the University of Salamanca, during the course of 1899-1900 he conducted advanced philosophy studies at the universities of Université catholique de Louvain, Leuven, Université libre de Bruxelles, Brussels and university of Paris, Paris. In February 1904 he became full professor of psychology, logic, ethics and rudiments of law at the Institute of Soria, transferring that same year to the same professorship at the Institute of Ourense, where he created a laboratory of experimental psychology, just as he would later at the Institute of Toledo, Spain, Toledo. Espasa-Calpe was a Spanish publisher which existed during the 20th century. It was created in 1925, by the union of Editorial Calpe, founded by Nicolás María de Urgoiti in 1918, and Editorial Espasa, founded by José and Pau Espasa i Anguera in 1860. The publisher, named Espasa-Calpe, was owned by Papelera Española. It became one of the most important publishers in Spain. The publisher later founded the Enciclopedia Espasa. Espasa-Calpe opened Casa del Libro in Gran Vía, Madrid, which continued with the direction of Enciclopedia Espasa. In addition, it established a headquarters in Buenos Aires, where it was extended into Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Mexico and Cuba. Wilhelm Wundt
Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt (; ; 16 August 1832 – 31 August 1920) was a German physiologist, philosopher, and professor, one of the fathers of modern psychology. Wundt, who distinguished psychology as a science from philosophy and biology, was the first person to call himself a psychologist. He is widely regarded as the "father of experimental psychology".
