The Historic Village of Elora is a community in the township (Canada), township of Centre Wellington Wellington County, Ontario, (Wellington County) in the Ontario, Province of Ontario, Canada. It is well known for its 19th-century limestone architecture and its geographically, historically, and culturally significant Elora Gorge, limestone gorge. Elora is no longer an incorporated municipality in its own right, although it is the seat of the municipal government which succeeded it. Centre Wellington, The Township of Centre Wellington was formed in 1999 when, on the advice of the Ontario, Province, the Wellington County, Ontario, County amalgamated the Town of Fergus, Ontario, Fergus; the Village of Elora; and the surrounding townships of Nichol, Pilkington, and West Garafraxa (along with the northwestern part of Eramosa.) Elora is an unincorporated community in Lincoln County, Tennessee, United States. It lies approximately southeast of Fayetteville and north of the Alabama state line. History Elora was originally known as Baxter Station, and was established as a stop along the Fayetteville and Decherd Branch Railroad in the 1850s. Elora has a post office with zip code 37328. Geography Elora is concentrated around the intersection of Tennessee State Route 121 and Tennessee State Route 122 (John Hunter Highway). SR 121 connects Elora to U.S. Route 64 and the Tims Ford Lake area to the north and Madison County, Alabama, to the southwest, while SR 122 connects Elora with Huntland to the east. Elora Danan
Elora Danan is a fictional character from the 1988 fantasy film ''Willow (1988 film), Willow'', and in the 2022 sequel TV series, ''Willow (TV series), Willow''. She is a Daikini, one of the average-sized races of people in the film (as opposed to the dwarf-sized Nelwyns). She is played by several different infants in the film, and by Ellie Bamber in the TV series. Casting Danan in the film was initially played by infant twins Kate and Ruth Greenfield. Although credited for the role, they grew too large for the props that held them on Warwick Davis’ back, so Rebecca Bearman, niece of second assistant director Gerry Toomey, was used throughout most of the film. Kristen Lang played her for scenes shot in Marin County. Babies Isla Brentwood, Laura Hopkirk, and Gina Nelson played her for the parts filmed in New Zealand.
