Elmar Kaljot
Elmar Gustav Kaljot (15 November 1901 – 8 January 1969) was an Estonian footballer. Career Kaljot played 25 times for the Estonian national team between 1923 and 1929. He played for three different teams in Estonian top flight and participated at the 1924 Summer Olympics and won the 1929 Baltic Cup. He was Estonian champion in five occasions, last two times as a coach. Elmar Lohk
Elmar Lohk (15 June 1901 – 11 February 1963) was an Estonian architect. Many of his buildings in Tallinn are now valued as great examples of 1930s architecture, for example, the prominent Scandic Hotel Palace on Freedom Square. His creation can be categorised as functionalism with some influence of Chicago school and traditional art. He also played tennis and has won Estonian Championships titles in doubles. Biography and career Elmar Lohk attended school in Vladivostok and worked in Shanghai. He then studied architecture in Darmstadt University of Technology 1921-1925 and started to work in Tallinn in 1926. Elmar Lichtenegger (born 25 May 1974 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian hurdler. His personal best time is 13.33 seconds, achieved in June 1999 in Athens. Elmar Emil Leppik, earlier Lepik (1898–1978) was an Estonian mycologist and theoretical biologist. He established a mycological herbarium and library at the University of Tartu. His birth date in 1898 has been given variously as 3 or 4 October or as 3 December, he died 4 November 1978 in Maryland. Leppik, the son of a farmer, was born in Jõgeva Parish, a rural municipality of Estonia north of Tartu. During his student years, he was interested in both mycology and algology. Following graduation, Leppik was a fellow at the Rockefeller Foundation and later the University of Tartu. Among his instructors were the prominent mycologists Eduard Fischer and Ernst Albert Gäumann. He earned his PhD in 1928 in Zürich before returning to Estonia to work at University of Tartu. Elmar Ledergerber (born April 4, 1944 in Engelberg) is a former List of mayors of Zurich, Mayor of Zurich. Elmar Kraushaar (born 11 August 1950) is a German journalist and author who lives in Berlin. Biography Kraushaar was born in Niederurff in northern Hesse. He studied from 1971 to 1979 in Berlin at Free University of Berlin. In the 1970s, during his university studies, he joined the gay organisation ''Homosexuelle Aktion Westberlin''.
