Elma Halilcevic
Elma Halilcevic (born 18 June 2000) is a Danish handball player of Bosnian descent. She currently plays for Odense Håndbold and the Danish national team. She started her career at Team Esbjerg, and have previously played for Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub. She debuted for the Danish National Team in April 2021. Before playing for Denmark, she was contacted by the Bosnian national team and was offered to represent them instead. She also represented Denmark in the 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship and in the 2019 Women's Junior European Handball Championship, placing 6th both times. The Danish Women's Handball League ( da, Damehåndboldligaen) is the top professional league for Danish women's handball clubs. It is administered by the Danish Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Danish champions. The league is officially called Bambusa Kvindeligaen for sponsorship reasons. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship
The 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship was the seventh edition of the tournament and took place in Kielce, Poland from 7 to 19 August 2018. Russia defeated Hungary in the final to win their second straight and third overall title. Qualification Brazil was unable to participate and therefore Austria was being named to replace them.
