Elly Vessies
Elly Appel-Vessies (27 July 1952 – 16 July 2022) was a professional tennis player from the Netherlands. After retiring, she played some seniors tennis. Appel-Vessies' best performance in the singles competition at a Grand Slam championship was at the 1975 French Open when she reached the third round. Her best performance in a doubles tournament at a major was at the 1976 French Open when she and Virginia Ruzici reached the quarterfinals. She also played 30 times for the Netherlands Fed Cup team The Netherlands Billie Jean King Cup team represents the Netherlands in the Billie Jean King Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Lawn Tennis Bond. Beverwijk
Beverwijk () is a municipality and a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The town is located about northwest of Amsterdam in the Randstad metropolitan area, north of the North Sea Canal very close to the North Sea coast. Dianne Evers (born 9 November 1956) is a retired female tennis player from Australia. With her partner Judy Chaloner, she won the 1979 Australian Open Doubles title and had a career high singles ranking of No. 42. Tennis career Evers began playing tennis at Lauriston Lawn Tennis Club in 1965 at the age of nine, and then at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club from 1967.
