Ellington Sabin
Ellington Sabin (born 9 September 1981) is a Dominica football manager who currently manages Dominica Premier League club Portsmouth Bombers FC and the Dominica national team. Managerial career Sabin was named an assistant coach of the Dominica national team under head coach Shane Marshall in 2016 ahead of 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification. The next year, he was retained as an assistant as Marshall resigned and Rajesh Latchoo stepped into the role. Sabin became head coach of Portsmouth Bombers FC of the Dominica Premier League in 2018. After five years as an assistant to Latchoo in the national setup, Sabin was named head coach of the national team in November 2022. The Dominica Premier League is the top division for association football in Dominica, it was created in 1970. Ten clubs participate in the league. Starting in 2005, the winner and runners-up can qualify for the CONCACAF Champions Cup from the first round of the CFU Club Championship. The Honourable Acting Justice Shane Raymond Marshall AM is a former judge of the Federal Court of Australia. After retiring from his federal appointments, from January 2017 until 30 June 2023, he held successive commissions as an acting Judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania. 2017 Caribbean Cup Qualification
The 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification began in March 2016. The qualification competition determined which Caribbean national teams would play in the 2017 Caribbean Cup and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Participants 25 teams from the 31 CFU members entered the qualification tournament. Sint Maarten participated for the first time since 1997. Draw Twenty five nations were involved in the draw, which took place on 16 January 2016, 21:00 AST ( UTC−4), at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa resort in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. The 2022–23 CONCACAF Nations League C was the lowest division of the 2022–23 edition of the CONCACAF Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF.
