Elitzur Shomron
Elitzur Shomron () is a professional basketball club based in Shomron Regional Council. The club is currently a member of the Israeli National League. History The club was founded in the 2010s, and until the 2019/20 season the club played in the leagues that are below the Liga Artzit level. In the 2019/20 season the team led the Liga Alef table, losing only one game. Eventually the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Elitzur was promoted to Liga Artzit for the first time. In the 2020/21 season the team played in Liga Artzit Group North, and finished fifth in Group North. In the 2021/22 season the team finished first in the regular season in Group North and advanced to the playoffs. In the Quarter-final Elitzur beat Hapoel Emek Hefer 2–1 in a best-of-three playoff. In the Semi-final Elitzur faced Hapoel Acre/Mateh Asher and Elitzur won 2–1 on aggregate. In the final series Elitzur faced Hapoel Kfar Saba. Elitzur won 2–1 on aggregate, and promoted to the ...

Liga Leumit (basketball)
Liga Leumit (, lit. ''National League'') is the second tier level league of basketball competition in Israel. It is the league level that is below the first tier Israeli Premier League. League system On 30 July, 2024 the Israel Basketball Association announces new game system. The regular season be played in a home-and-away Round-robin tournament, round-robin format. The top 6 finishers will advance to the Top-teams League Group, and the rest of the teams will advance to the Bottom-Teams League Group. The winner of the Top-teams League Group will be promoted to the Israeli Basketball Premier League, Premier League, while the 2nd to 9th ranked teams will advance to the playoff to determine the second team that will be promoted. The two teams that finish at the bottom of the Bottom-Teams League Group will be relegated to the Liga Artzit (basketball), Liga Artzit. Ganei Tikva
Ganei Tikva () is a city in Israel bordering Kiryat Ono to the west, Petah Tikva to the north, Gat Rimon to the east and Savyon to the south. History Ganei Tikva was formed in 1949, located on the land of the Palestinian village of Al-'Abbasiyya, which became depopulated in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Shikun Yovel, built in 1949, was the first neighborhood. Ganei Tikva achieved local council status in 1953. Yismach Moshe, a religious neighborhood, was built in 1962. (During the Shabat, Yismach Moshe is closed to traffic). Givat Savyon was built in 1972, and is considered a high-end apartment building neighborhood. In an attempt to duplicate Givat Savyon's success, Givat Savyon HaHadasha neighborhood was formed on the eastern side, bordering Gat Rimon. The latest addition to Ganei Tikva is the residential neighborhood Ganim. Ganei Tikva is known for its high standard of living and quality education.

Shomron Regional Council
The Shomron Regional Council (, ''Mo'atza Azorit Shomron'', English ''Samaria Regional Council'') is an Israeli regional council in the northern portion of the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Thirty-five Israeli settlements fall under its jurisdiction. As of December 2020 the jurisdiction area of the council has a population of about 47,200 people. The main offices are located in the Barkan Industrial Park.
