Elisabetta Belloni
Elisabetta Belloni (; born 1 September 1958) is an Italian diplomat and civil servant, Director of the Dipartimento delle Informazioni per la Sicurezza, Department of Information for Security from 2021 to 2025. Biography Graduated in Political Science at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, Luiss University in 1982 with a thesis on international negotiation techniques, Belloni embarked on a diplomatic career in 1985. She has held positions in Italian embassies and representations permanent offices in Vienna and Bratislava, as well as in the Directorates General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Italy), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In particular, from 1993 to 1996 she was First Secretary of the Italian diplomatic representation to international organizations. Order Of Merit Of The Italian Republic
The Order of Merit of the Italian Republic () is the most senior Italian order of merit. It was established in 1951 by the second President of Italy, President of the Italian Republic, Luigi Einaudi. The highest-ranking honour of the Republic, it is awarded for "merit acquired by the nation" in the fields of science, literature, arts, economy, public service, and social, philanthropic and humanitarian activities and for long and conspicuous service in civilian and military careers. The post-nominal letters for the order are OMRI. Palazzo Della Farnesina
The Palazzo della Farnesina is an Italian government building located between Monte Mario and the River Tiber, Tiber River in the Foro Italico area in Rome, Italy. Designed in 1935, it has housed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Italy), Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since its completion in 1959. A reference to "La Farnesina" is often to be intended as a metonymy for the hosted institution, namely the Ministry itself. Structure The nine-story building was designed in 1935 by architects Enrico Del Debbio, Arnaldo Foschini and Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo. It was originally designated to be the headquarters of Italy's National Fascist Party. Construction was halted in 1943 and throughout World War II. The facade consists of travertine. Lucrezia Reichlin (born 14 August 1954) is an Italian economist who has been a professor at London Business School since 2008. As of early 2025, she was also a non-resident fellow at Bruegel. Reichlin's research focuses on forecasting, business cycle analysis and monetary policy. She pioneered now-casting in economics by developing econometrics methods capable of reading the real time data flow through the lenses of a formal econometric model. These methods are now widely used by central banks and private investors around the world.
