Elisabeth Cebrián
Elisabeth Cebrián Scheurer (born 7 February 1971) is a Spanish former basketball player who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics. She was part of the squad which became European champions in Perugia in EuroBasket Women 1993, 1993. She is one of the players with the most appearances in the Spain women's national basketball team, Spanish national team with 252 caps. Nowadays, Cebrián works for FIBA Europe as member of the Women's Basketball Commission. Club career She made her debut in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto, Spanish league with CB Tortosa, Raventós Catasús at 16. As one of the most promising young players of her time, she got transferred to the BEX Banco Exterior, Caja Toledo - BEX Banco Exterior project, with other young Spanish prospects in order to prepare for the Basketball at the 1992 Summer Olympics, 1992 Summer Olympics. The 1994 FIBA Women's World Championship was the 12th edition of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, FIBA Women's World Championship, an quadrennial international tournament played by women's basketball teams in FIBA. It was hosted in Australia from 2 to 12 June 1994 at five venues with the Sydney Entertainment Centre hosting the finals. The tournament consisted of 16 nations from five federations who competed through the regional qualifiers to get to the tournament.
