Elif Batuman (born 1977) is an American author, academic, and journalist. She is the author of three books: a memoir, ''The Possessed'', and the novels ''The Idiot,'' which was a finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and ''Either/Or''. Elif Deniz (born 25 March 1993) is a Turkish women's football midfielder, who last y played in the First League for Trabzon İdmanocağı with jersey number 11. Elif Jale Yeşilırmak, née Yulia Guramievna Rekvava (russian: Юлия Гурамиевна Реквава), (born July 30, 1986 in Smolensk, Russia) is a Russian-Turkish female wrestler. Elif Köroğlu is a Turkish female football referee and long-distance runner. Elif Köroğlu began her official career in the amateur league match in March 2015. She served in the role of referee in various age categories of the amateur league between 2016 and 2017. In July 2017, she was promoted to the position of professional referee. She serves as a referee in the women's and men's professional leagues. She started her athletics by running in the 4K meters branch.
